R.I.P. Bernd Eichinger

The movie producer Bernd Eichinger passed away on Monday, 61 years old.
Bernd Eichinger produced a large number of movies. To mention only some you may have heard of (and they’re also personal favourites):
- Downfall (2004)
- The name of the Rose (1986)

Bernhard Eichinger is considered to be Germany’s most successful producer.  He was awarded with several “Bambis”, “Bavarian Films Awards” and “German Film Awards”.

My thoughts go out to his family, friends and colleagues.
May he rest in peace

Northern lights at January nights…

One of the most spectacular things in Norway at winter ain’t all the ski-going guys, but an event created by mother nature – the Northern lights.
Last night the Northern lights were visibel about large areas. It was the result of one of the biggest sunstorms during the last six years.
Unfortunately I wasn’t able to see it when I looked out my window, but I really want to share these pictures and the small movie with you.
I found them on the NRK-website. Just follow the links :-)

March, 9th to March, 18th 2012

We’re counting down to the Oslo International Church Music festival.
The theme of the year is “Passion and Passion music“.
Bente Johnsrud, Festival and Artistic Director, writes in her welcome greeting that “I read an article recently about what happens to us when we listen to music.
